About

A senior at Pittsburg State University in Pittsburg, KS, Caleb Hays is a foot soldier in the fight for liberty and conservative common sense. He currently serves as President of the Pittsburg State University College Republicans and as Southern Regional Vice-Chair and Communications Director of the Kansas Federation of College Republicans, representing three of the state’s major universities. He has previously served on two local state representative campaigns, helping to elect the largest conservative class of Kansas State Representatives in the state’s history in 2010. That same year, he also worked hundreds of man-hours traversing the state and walking door-to-door on the campaign to elect a conservative U.S. Senator from Kansas.

In the past, he has helped organize tea party rallies that have attracted hundreds of patriots to the Pittsburg State University campus and brought in speakers from all across the nation. Even though PSU is a small university, Hays’s leadership has helped bring names such as now-Kansas Secretary of State Kris Kobach, the author of Arizona’s SB1070, former Congressman Todd Tiahrt, (R-KS04), and Congresswoman Lynn Jenkins (R-KS02) to campus to address students. Hays has also donated his time to travel to other states to help inform citizens of the dangers of government-run healthcare and has marched on the National Mall in support of traditional American values. Caleb Hays believes the best of America lies in the days ahead, not in the past, and that the American Dream of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness can be achieved through hard work and a limited government that steps out of the way of its citizens.
